Thanks to all those who supported our little adventure, the children just loved it!

International No Shoes Day
The children all took their shoes off at 10:00 (it IS winter in Hilton after all!) as well as bought bags of warm clothes, shoes and blankets to donate to Ndabezintle Creche in Sweetwaters. The amazing Nellie looks after approximately 30- 40 children on a daily basis and does this with the support of local churches and community groups. She provides them with a hot meal and lots of love. Hilltops is proud to support her fantastic project.
SPCA visit
The SPCA Howick came to chat to the children to make them aware of what the organisation does as well as what it takes to look after animals as pets. This tied in nicely with our weekly theme (pets) and really brought the learning home for the little ones. Donations of food and blankets were proudly given by the children, and the SPCA team was hugely appreciative. Thanks all!
